It is the policy of the Choir to provide highly qualified staff both in music, singing and as pastoral carers. Students of music colleges and members of the National Youth Choir, who have already worked with Lissa are employed as assistants with the children and staff, both with the music and in the recreational periods.

There are singing teachers who offer each child individual singing lessons during the course, they are all experienced professional performers.

There are also three pianists who work both during choir rehearsals and also individually with children for cabaret and recital.

Pastoral care is an important aspect of the Choir, and great care is taken with the children's emotional needs..

All adults in charge of the children have had CRB police clearance.
